Chief Development Officer

With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit development, including leadership roles at Childhelp and Emerald Youth Foundation, she brings expertise in fundraising, strategic partnership, and relationship building. Her skills help the organization diversify funding sources, establish a reliable recurring donor base, and form key partnerships to expand services and further the mission.

Director of Community Relations

Sam will lead our marketing efforts and spearhead the development and strengthening of community partnerships, while also guiding the work of our Coordinated Community Response (CCR) team—vital to our mission of expanding access and support for survivors across Knoxville. Born and raised in Knoxville, Sam brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit community collaboration through her work with East Tennessee Foundation, the Alliance for Better Nonprofits, and United Way of Greater Knoxville.

Daisha Arnold

Daisha Arnold

Director of Client Relations

Daisha most recently served as Admin & Office Coordinator at Girl Talk, Inc., where she managed compliance, operations, and donor relations. Previously, she served as a Team Leader at Centerstone of Tennessee, overseeing case managers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, regulated care across interdisciplinary teams. Her experience as a MAT Counselor at Patient-Centered Care and as a Wraparound Specialist at the Helen Ross McNabb Center provided her with deep expertise in developing treatment plans, facilitating client intakes, and supporting families through complex challenges.

Ashlynn serves as Lead Navigator at the Knoxville Family Justice Center, where she brings deep knowledge of the center’s processes and unwavering dedication to supporting survivors of trauma. With extensive experience guiding clients through their next steps, she is committed to ensuring every individual feels heard, supported, and empowered. Her passion for victim services drives her to create a safe, compassionate environment for those seeking help and healing.
