Make a Donation
The Knoxville Family Justice Center opened as a quasi-government agency in May 2005 but became a nonprofit in July 2017 and now relies on federal and state grants and donation to continue operating.
We are tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Our Tax ID number is 30-0342598. Donors may deduct contributions under IRC Section 170. We are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, legacies, devices, transfers, and gifts under IRC Sections 2055, 2106, and 2522.

We are a verified charity with Walmart’s “Spark Good in Your Neighborhood” program, which means you can support us every time you shop! You can donate spare change by automatically rounding up your order to the nearest dollar at checkout. KARM
We do not have the space to store donated used items such as clothes, toys, furniture, appliances, etc., and of the few tangibles we do store and distribute to victims and their children, we prefer that they are new. However, we partner with Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) through their Corners of Your Field program, and if you donate your gently used clothing and household items to a KARM store and designate the Knoxville Family Justice Center, we will receive credit from KARM for your donation in the form of KARM gift cards that we can then give to victims who are in need.
Car Magnet
Every October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our local law enforcement agencies show their support by sporting our purple ribbon car magnets on their marked cruisers—and now you can too! For a donation of $5 of more, you can support our Purple Ribbon Campaign and receive your own magnet.
